THE APPROACH
The goal was never to stack as much software as possible into a small business. It was to remove friction, present the business properly, organise repeat work and create useful private tools without making the owner dependent on a maze of subscriptions.
The business outcome should make sense without needing to know the vendor or infrastructure underneath it.
Build around the work that actually happens: enquiries, collections, deliveries, receipts, records and updates.

UNDER THE HOOD
The commercial story comes first. For people who want the implementation detail, the main production paths are kept deliberately simple and separated.
Website work is made away from the live production source, reviewed, then merged into the production branch for deployment.
Accounting data, receipts and private business logic are kept out of the public website and treated as separate business systems.
The architecture is deliberately right-sized so the business is not paying for idle infrastructure or duplicate services.
